Everything at Berean Bible Fellowship Church is centered on Jesus Christ. We believe that He is the most important Person in history. Through Him, each person can begin a relationship with God – a relationship that starts now and lasts for all eternity.
Jesus said, “I am the bread of life” – our spiritual nourishment (John 6:35).
He said, “I am the light of the world” – our spiritual direction (John 8:12).
He said, “I am the good shepherd” – our spiritual leader (John 10:11).
He said, “I am the true vine” – our source of spiritual life (John 15:5).
Jesus Christ promises to meet all our spiritual needs.
If any other man made such claims, he would be dismissed as arrogant and possibly irrational. But Jesus is not just an ordinary man. During His earthly ministry, He performed all sorts of miracles to demonstrate His spiritual authority. He healed the sick, the blind, the deaf, and the lame. He even raised the dead. He said, “Believe Me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves” (John 14:11).
The Bible explains that Jesus is fully God and fully man. He lived with God the Father from eternity past. He then entered our world as a man so that He could restore the relationship between God and men. “For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all men” (1 Timothy 2:5-6).
By dying on the cross, Jesus paid the penalty for sin. By rising from the dead, He proved His victory over sin. Now God offers forgiveness and eternal life to all who put their faith in Jesus. “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). “For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God” (1 Peter 3:18).
Through Jesus Christ, you can begin a relationship with God today:
A dmit that your sinfulness has separated you from God.
B elieve that Jesus paid the full penalty for your sin.
C ommit your life to Jesus as your Savior and Lord.
Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me”
